THE STORY:
There are times when life moves along a horizontal line: steady, continuous, almost unnoticed. Until something invites us to pause, and our attention turns inward.
In that shift, a vertical dimension opens, bringing depth, awareness and a different way of seeing.
This work is a visual reminder of that movement — from moving through life to becoming more present within it.
THE COLOURS & TEXTURES:
The textured, matte surfaces speak of the density of everyday life — being close to our thoughts, roles and daily concerns.
The dark red carries a sense of weight and intensity, reflecting those moments when we are immersed in the movement of life and things feel less clear.
The glossy surface catches and reflects light, becoming a symbol of clarity and awareness — a moment when our attention turns inward and something becomes visible.
The soft pink introduces another quality: gentleness, openness and softness. Looking deeper does not have to be harsh. It can also be soft.

MATERIALS: Painted wood combining textured and smooth surfaces (matte paint with added sand, satin and high gloss finishes)

HANGING SYSTEM: Each work comes ready to hang, with a metal sawtooth hanger securely attached to the back.You only need to place a screw in the wall. The small notches allow you to shift the work slightly, making it easy to hang it perfectly level.
